As most of the pandamic-fatigued world is planning summer travel, Southland locals won’t have to explore distant and overpriced destination to get their much-needed R&R.

Newly opened Hilton Santa Monica Hotel & Suites, located in the heart of the trendy westside, is set to welcome guests to enjoy a memorable getaway that includes an array of special amenities.

Situated a few blocks from the Pacific shoreline, Hilton Santa Monica Hotel & Suites features 286 spacious guest rooms, 211 of which are suites. With Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica Pier and Palisades Park within walking distance, guests can enjoy most of iconic Santa Monica on foot.

A relaxing pool deck, a soothing spa with a host of skin and body treatments, and plenty of common areas to lounge and unwind, the hotel property is a peaceful refuge for guests who return after a day on the town. The vast hotel lobby features ceiling skylights, original art, and a tech co-working lounge, in case vacationers need to sneak in a bit of work while on the property.

The hotel decor is designed by Los Angeles-based Avenue Interior Design. Details of the Southern California coast are reflected throughout, and the design team partnered with Pineapple Procurement, furniture and fixtures professionals, to source furnishings that reflect the beachy coastal vibes of the town in which Hilton Santa Monica sits.

Meals on site can be enjoyed at Monica’s Pacific Terrace, a full-service, farm-to-table restaurant that features fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Indoor or patio seating is available form 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Menu items include Cayenne Chicken and Waffles, Pomegranate Salad, Snake River Farms Braised Short Ribs, and a Beach Omelette filled with avocado, kale, feta cheese and arugula.

Chef Edy Lucas, an L.A. native known for his work at Manhattan Beach’s The Strand House and Fishing with Dynamite, spearheads the culinary program at Monica’s. His innovative menu options will change seasonally to showcase Southern California’s freshest produce.

Monica’s Lounge is an airy bar located in the hotel lobby and open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 Nightly. Guests can hangout and enjoy creative and classy cocktails like a Moscow Mule, Rusty Nail and a refreshing Cosmo.

Hilton Santa Monica Hotel & Suites guests can enjoy live entertainment in an intimate outdoor setting on property, presented by Sofar Sounds. Hilton Santa Monica Hotels & Suites is a proud partner with Sofar Sounds offering artists a coastal venue in which they can share original music with the local community as well as hotel guests.
